Our story, vision & purpose
Every dream must form a “yes”
The story of Compassionate Paradise Learning Center began in 2014, when I was prompted to go back to school and complete my education. The love for God’s children has always been part of my heart, and I have felt compassion for those who deeply experience challenges related to their disabilities. I was awakened to the call, as society has too often pushed them to the side. My desire, my heart, and my God-given assignment is to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
Teresa Ingram is the founder of Compassionate Paradise Learning Center LLC and currently works in the Houston County School System. She and her husband Darius have five children. She has years of experience working with children, including 10 years serving as a paraprofessional in the Autism Department with the Houston County School System, along with leadership experience in childcare as an assistant director and center director. She earned an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education Exceptionalities Specialization.
Driven by a spoken word, faith, and compassion, Teresa is dedicated to creating a center where children with disabilities are welcomed, understood, and equipped with the support they need to grow and succeed. Her purpose is clear, her passion is unwavering, and her vision is undeniable.
